What Is AI?

Unit 4 brings the year together: AI is a kind of computer that learns from examples. Across five 20–30 minute lessons, students teach Kai to tell groups apart by showing it examples, discover that more and better examples help it learn, see that AI can still make mistakes, and explore how AI helps people when we use it fairly and kindly.
