K–2 · Noticing, Sorting, Teaching

Sorting and Patterns

Unit 2 teaches the heart of how AI makes sense of the world: sorting things into groups by a rule, and spotting patterns that repeat. Across five 20–30 minute lessons, students teach Kai to sort with simple yes/no rules, find and continue patterns, and predict what comes next — the same skills AI uses to classify and forecast.
