Free Prompt Engineering Game for Kids

Most "AI for kids" tools want an email, a login, or a credit card before your child does anything. This one doesn't.

The first quest of Prompt Lab: Quest for the Perfect Prompt is free, runs in any browser, and collects zero data. Here's what it teaches and how to start in about 30 seconds.

What the game is

It's a quest, not a quiz. Each round shows a weak prompt and the messy answer the AI gives back. Your child picks the upgrade that fixes it, then watches the AI's answer transform into a good one. Clear a quest and you forge a "Prompt Gem." Collect all four and you've built the Perfect Prompt.

What it teaches

Four real prompt-writing skills, the same ones professionals use: be specific, give the AI context and a role, shape the answer's format and length, and use AI responsibly (flag uncertainty, protect private info, learn instead of cheat). It finishes with a printable Prompt Engineer certificate kids are genuinely proud of.

How to play

Open the link, no sign-up. Quest 1 is free for everyone. If your child wants the other three quests, they unlock with any HiKIDAI pack, but the free quest is a complete, satisfying lesson on its own. It works on a phone, tablet, or laptop, no install required.

Who it's for
