Learning Objectives

Lesson Structure

1. Hook (5 min) – Ask: "What happens if I ask an AI: 'Write a story about a robot' vs. 'Write a story about a robot who is afraid of water'?" Discuss the difference.
2. Digital play – Prompt Lab (20 min) – Students explore the Prompt Lab, comparing vague and engineered prompts. Note the Prompt Power Meter.
3. Hallucination Hunt (15 min) – Students play the Hallucination Hunt. Discuss: "Why did the AI sound so confident when it was wrong?"
4. Neural network visualization (10 min) – Use the interactive neural network diagram in the game. Explain how specific words activate more precise pathways.
5. Wrap‑up (5 min) – Hand out the Hallucination Evidence Log. Remind students: "A prompt is like training data for a single conversation."
